We are Seth and Mallory Worthington and we started Worthington Corgi Co back in 2018! While we were dating, all I could talk about was how I wanted to raise corgis! Shortly after being married, my husband, Seth, took me to pick up our first corgi and a few months after that our second! We fell in love with the breed and since then, our Corgi Herd has grown and we have so many dreams for our now program.
Seth and I both grew up in small farm towns not far from Spanish Fork, Utah, and have loved to call this place home. We are huge advocates for agriculture and are very involved in the Ag Industry and Livestock Community. We both grew up on family farms and ranches raising quality livestock for a variety of purposes and we are still very involved in those operations today. I grew up raising Angus cattle on my family's ranch, Sorensen Angus Ranch, and Seth grew up helping his grandpa with his sheep and cattle along with raising show pigs with his Dad, Worthington Genetics. We both also raised and competed exhibiting several livestock species including cattle, sheep, and pigs at various Jr. Livestock Shows around the States. As well as competing in livestock evaluation competitions. Our love for livestock and caring for animals runs deep and we love to do it together!
Seth and I have been married since July 2018 and we now have two little boys, Koe and Sloan. We love being on the farm as a family and showing our boys all the things we love and raising our little family with the pigs, cattle, sheep and corgis!
Besides the daily farm tasks, we both have our own careers that keep us busy. Seth works full time and is a Water Operator for the city, I, Mallory, am a stay at home mama to our boys, but I also have a few small businesses of my own! I am a livestock photographer and own, West Worth Photography(@westworthphotography). I picture Livestock Shows/Jackpots and then dabble in lifestyle and family photos as well. It is one of my biggest passions and I love that I can incorporate it into our program to help promote our dogs and litters too! I also am a cosmetologist(@retrobeauty.koe) and have a salon with my sister! Working for myself has not only allowed me to be a stay-at-home mom majority of the time, but also allows me to be available raising our dogs and litters!
As for our breeding program, we are very passionate about improving our business and raising quality corgis all the way around! Because of this, we are very particular and intentional about the dogs we bring into our program and are slowly but surely adding to our corgi herd.
We are very excited for the future of our program and hope you stick around for the ride!
